How does geofencing ensure security?
Mark Me uses high-precision GPS coordinates. When a representative starts a session, the system defines a virtual boundary around the lecture hall. Students can only mark themselves present if their device is detected within that specific area.
What if a student's phone dies during class?
No problem. Course representatives have a 'Manual Mark' override. If a student is physically present but facing technical issues, the rep can verify their identity and mark them present from the admin dashboard.
How do students get accounts?
We've eliminated manual registration. Once a rep uploads the official class list (Excel/CSV), accounts are automatically provisioned for every student on that list. Students simply sign in with their ID numbers.
Can attendance reports be edited?
For integrity reasons, students cannot edit attendance. Representatives can adjust entries during the live session, but once a report is exported to PDF or Excel, it serves as a finalized record of the lecture.
